
Our Story
Chitsungo Mission Hospital opened our doors for the first time on 18 November 1969. At the time, the mission was headed by Fr. Joackim Von Kerssenbrock and Fr. Kotzik.

Due to the war at the time, by 1978 most of the buildings but in1983 the hospital was refurbished and reopened for public use.

Today, the building still stands strong and still provides quality healthcare to the community. C

We participate in the creation of healthier lives within the community, to promote wellness, to relieve suffering and provide assistance to the whole person in a catholic spirit of equality and interfaith.

Our Facilities
Chitsungo hospital is a general hospital which offers a wide range of services. We also have specialized equipment that includes a microscope, a FBC machine, covid PCR testing, a biosafety cabinet. a CD4 count machine, and an aenestatic machine
